Our Vision, Mission & Community Engagement

Celebrating Heritage, Connecting Communities

At CCHO, we believe that African cultures should not only be preserved but also shared as part of everyday life in Wales. Our vision, mission, and community engagement efforts all work together to empower individuals and enrich communities.

Our Mission – Our Vision
We envision a Wales where African cultures and traditions are celebrated, integrated, and shared with pride. By promoting awareness, we enrich not only our children but also the wider communities we live in.

We run cultural events, essential skills training, and community classes in cooking, sewing, and languages. Our goal is to make African heritage visible, accessible, and part of everyday life.

See, Hear, and Feel Communities in Action

Experience Culture in Motion

Nothing captures the spirit of CCHO like seeing it in action. Our media section showcases videos and audio recordings from our most vibrant activities — from African cooking classes and language sessions to cultural drumming and drama performances.

Watch as we prepare traditional meals like Jollof rice, MoinMoin, and Goat Curry, listen to the rhythm of our drummers, and see how our workshops and events bring people together across all ages. [--> example videos off youtube; so change to CCHO's]
