What Is Church Planting?
A lot of people assume they know what church planting is.
Yet the activities we typically associate with church planting really aren't found in the Bible and really don't get to its core essence.

Those things aren't always wrong, but focusing on them misses the point.
Church planting is about reaching the lost with the gospel. It's about making disciples. And everything we typically associate with planting is just a byproduct. It's what we have to do to help an increasing number of new disciples to grow in their faith.
